Are you looking for something to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? Looking for discounts and deals these holidays? Here's our top 5 exciting adventures and activities to do on the Gold Coast that will keep them busy for hours!

Go to the Theme Parks with discount passes!

Everyone's favourite activity on the Gold Coast, the Theme Parks are a must see while on the Gold Coast. Sea World, Movie World and Wet'n'wild have a special VIP pass that gives you unlimited access to all 3 parks until July next year for only $99 per person! Park tickets are normally $60 for just one day per park so this is a huge saving.

Learn to Surf

Go Ride a Wave are the Gold Coast's leading surf School, operating in Surfers Paradise since 1987. Lessons last 2 hours and include a surf safety lesson, board hire, wetsuit and a professional instructor who specialises in turning your young one into the next Kelly Slater. Lessons start from $50 and are also available for adults if you'd like to join them!

Night time fun and activities

If a huge day of theme parks or surfing isn't enough to wear your kids out, why not head into central Surfers Paradise and checkout Timezone, the bowling alley, Dracula's Haunted House or the Racing Centre? Timezone is full of arcade and skill games that will bring out the inner kid on yourself and is a great way of getting the whole family involved in some fun. Dracula's Haunted House is suitable for the younger ones (or those that scare easy) but is a lot of fun.

Hit the Beach

Pack up the esky, umbrella and sunscreen and head to the local beach. Make a day of it with a picnic or BBQ, grab a good book, the cricket bat or footy ball and have fun! The weathers amazing, the beach costs nothing and the kids will run themselves ragged playing in the surf and enjoying themselves. Just remember to swim between the flags and wear sunscreen!

Visit Harbour Town Shopping Centre

Harbour Town Shopping Centre is located 10 minutes north of Surfers Paradise and has the best prices on the Gold Coast when it comes to clothing, accessories and toys. With over 120 different outlet stores to choose from the kids will have plenty to see, and if shopping is too much for them drop into the Cinema and catch one of the latest movies. Harbour Town also offer a Tourists Discount card for discounts at stores throughout the shopping centre and access to the Tourist Lounge, click here to see just how much you can save!
