The Brisbane Exhibition or The ‘Ekka’ as it is commonly referred to is 10 days of jammed pack fun. The ‘Ekka’ is where the city meets the country, held annually in August at the Brisbane RNA Showgrounds.
The Brisbane ‘Ekka’ is a regular event in the calendar of towns and cities across the state, more than just an agricultural Exhibition, The ‘Ekka’ is a Brisbane Institution, with rides, and animals, food and wine, showbags and an array of entertainment The Brisbane ‘Ekka’ is one not to be missed.
The first Brisbane Exhibition was held in 1876, marking this year’s ‘Ekka’ the 130th annual celebration.

People's Day
People's Day (Exhibition Public Holiday) is on Wednesday 16th August.

Adults $15 after 6pm Monday 14th and Thursday 17th August
Concession Ticket Conditions
Secondary students over the age of 14 years must have an approved student identification card or be wearing a school uniform to be eligible for concession entry.
Full-time tertiary and postgraduate students must have an approved student identification card and attend an approved educational institution/s in Queensland for a minimum period of 12 hours per week for concession entry.
Pensioners must hold a current valid Pensioner Concession Card or Queensland Repatriation Health Gold Card issued by Centrelink or the Department of Veteran's Affairs. The Centrelink Health Care Card is NOT ACCEPTED for concession entry.
Seniors must hold a Seniors Card (from any state) to be eligible for concession entry. Seniors Business Discount Cards and National Seniors Cards are NOT ACCEPTED for concession entry.
