Location: Sands Turtle Beach Resort is located only 2.5km South of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and 300 metres from the beach. Coolangatta Airport is just 20 min south of the resort.

Rooms: One-bedroom, self-contained apartments that are large in size and well-appointed, with quality furnishings. Kitchen / laundry are fully equipped, including dishwasher, microwave, cook top and oven. All apartments have balconies or terraces that overlook lush, tropical greenery and manicured gardens. Broadband Internet access (payable direct) and in-room movies (payable direct) are now available as well as free cable TV.

Restaurant: Enjoy a pizza at the Woodfire Pizzeria & Bar or dine in Rainforest cafe. The resort also offers an on-site convenience store "Fresh" that features a wide range of grocery items and an Internet cafe.

Exterior: Very well equipped, low-rise, apartment-style resort, set in a sub-tropical oasis.

Lobby: The lobby is small and functional, in keeping with apartment-style accommodations. Tour desk facilities are available to guests.

General: Sands Turtle Beach Resort has extensive recreational facilities, including gymnasium, lagoon & lap swimming pools (including a new adults only pool!) , tennis (hire charge applies), putt-putt (hire charge applies), and walking trails. For those who prefer a slower pace, soak up the relaxed atmosphere poolside or send the kids to the cinema theatrette while you indulge in a therapeutic massage at our Chelonia Day Spa. A mid-stay service is provided for reservations of 10 nights or more. Please note the resort requires an imprint of a Visa or MasterCard upon arrival. If guests don't own either of the 2 credit cards, we require $200 cash as a key deposit & 2 forms of identification, 1 of which must have a photo. Guests will receive a receipt for the $200 from the staff member checking them in. They will need to provide this receipt upon check out to get the deposit back & they will also be required to sign documentation upon receiving the cash back. NH0309
