DREAMWORLD RIDES
Tower Of Terror
The Tower of Terror is one of the fastest rides in the world. The Tower's electro-magnetically powered 'Escape Pod' accelerates its passengers to a massive 160 kph in seven seconds before it climbs to almost 38 storeys high. Then there's the tummy losing free-fall back to earth before hurtling into to the safety of the station.
Giant Drop
The Giant Drop is the tallest free-falling ride in the world according to the Guiness Book of World Records. But don't be lulled into a false sense of security by the relaxing journey to the top (the view is amazing if you can keep your eyes open long enough). Within seconds you're plummeting 120-metres at terminal speed. It's the closest thing to sky diving … well almost.
Wipeout
No hula girls or board wax here, just five nail-biting minutes of being spun, twisted and tumbled through a body-wrenching range of dumping breakers. The Wipeout is framed by a giant crashing wave, shipwreck, palms, sand, shark and ocean which, sets the scene for the turbulent ride ahead. It is the mother of all tidal waves and you're strapped in the middle without a life line.
Cyclone
Cyclone is one of the tallest high-speed gravity rollercoasters in the Southern Hemisphere. It's 13 storeys and 1000 tonnes of high-speed, heart-thumping twists with a hair-raising 360-degree loop and screaming sidewinder. Be prepared to be blown away!!
The Claw
Need to sink your talons into some real thrill ride terror? The Claw is here and it's tearing through Dreamworld. The first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, The Claw is the most powerful pendulum on the planet. You'll be propelled 9 stories high, swinging up to 75km/h while spinning 360 degrees. It'll scare you to shreds!
Thunder Rapids Ride
You're gonna get wet! All aboard the 'Thunder River Rapids' for a white water raft ride that takes you through Gold Rush Country and out back of beyond. The rafts rush down a foamy, water track at speeds of up to 45km/h - negotiating deep troughs on their turbulent journey home.
Log Ride
If you've got a ticket to ride, then get ready to splash down at Rocky Hollow. Climb aboard the hollowed-out logs as they traverse the watercourse, climb the aquaduct and then hurtle down the ramp at 50 km/h.
Eureka Mine Ride
Join the Gold Rush on this super-spooky ride which takes you through the dark abandoned tunnels of the 'Eureka Mountain Mine'. Hair-raising drops are coupled with tight turns … as your runaway miner's cart comes terrifyingly close to mountain drops.
