Returning in 2006 is the popular 'Thrifty Corporate Challenge' where teams can compete for great prizes and the coveted perpetual trophy. Encourage friends, family and workmates to enter and be in the running for great prizes for best dressed, largest teams, and most kilometres covered by a team. It's a great way to promote workplace fitness and a unique opportunity to socialise.

The official event merchandiser will assist with the creation and provision of garments/product for teams wanting a uniform look!
2006 TEAM TENT PACKAGES
All team entries can book a tent for the day to meet team mates, store gear and most importantly celebrate the achievements afterwards.
2006 TEAM ENTRY CONDITIONS
All corporate, group or social teams must comprise 10 or more participants entered in any one of the events. Team entries must be entered online with ONE payment and must be received by 7 June to be eligible for the 10% discount. Teams entered after this date will not be legible for a discount or exclusive team services.
ELITE RUNNERS
The Gold Coast Airport Marathon course is officially recognised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) where conditions must meet world standards and stringent IAAF recognised course rules. The AIMS (Association of International Marathons) accredited course enables athletes to qualify for Olympic selection and official world records.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter at the standard fee cost, the entry form must be completed, signed and returned with full payment no later than 5:00pm, Wednesday 7 June 2006. Entries postmarked after this date will be considered late entries and will incur a late fee of $20.00. One entry form per person must be completed. Photocopied entry forms will be accepted. Postal entries close 5:00pm Friday 16 June. To enter after this date you must do so in person at either the Brisbane or Gold Coast Registrations Centres.
On receipt of your entry a confirmation letter will be forwarded including details of race number and race kit collection. Included in this correspondence will be your Race Guide which outlines all other vital information about the event. Confirmation advice will be sent no earlier than May 2006.
It is highly recommended that you collect the race kit prior to race day to avoid early morning rush and the possibility of missing a race start.

FINISHERS REWARDS
Every finisher in the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10km Run will receive a commemorative Finishers T/Shirt with 7.5km walkers receiving a participant's shirt at registration. Finishers in all events including the Junior Dash will receive a commemorative medal. Participants can purchase hard copy personalised Finishers Certificates and a Results Booklet for $4.50. Alternatively, download your FREE personalised Finishers Certificates from the website and view the results online.
