Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is a coastal region located in South East Queensland. The Sunshine Coast is about 1 hour drive north of Brisbane and 2 hours drive north of the Gold Coast. The Sunshine Coast region is home to more individual national parks than any other region in Queensland including Mapleton Falls National Park, Kondalilla National Park, The Glasshouse Mountains National Park, Noosa National Park, and the Great Sandy National Park, which includes vast sections on Fraser Island.

Stretching for 65 kilometres are the sandy beaches of the Sunshine Coast, extending from Caloundra (approx 30 mins south) to the trendy Noosa and Noosaville (approx 30 mins north of the Sunshine Coast "centre").

Visitors to the Sunshine Coast can't go past Noosa and its surrounding centres: these include Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Noosa Junction and Sunshine Beach.
