Gold Coast Accommodation Near the Theme Parks

Are you wanting to escape to the Gold Coast for a fantastic, fun filled theme park holiday? Saddle up for an amazing adventure! But first, let’s choose the perfect place to stay.

Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach are the two most popular locations for Gold Coast holidays, both of which are centrally located on the coast. The famous for fun theme parks are situated in Oxenford and Coomera, the Gold Coast’s northern suburbs approximately a 30 minute drive away.

The exception to the rule is Sea World Resort which is based on the water at Main Beach approximately 15 minutes from Surfers and Broadie and also sports its own resort, so you can stay and play all in one!

For the rest of the parks, there are several accommodation options from hinterland luxury, to beachfront glamour, to family facilitates galore that are within a 20 minute drive of the theme parks. Read on to see which is right for you!

  1. Paradise Country, Oxenford - 0 Minutes
As well as a theme park, Paradise Country also includes a Farm Stay! You can camp, pitch a tent, or glamp it (and the glamping is very, VERY nice). You’re nestled between Movie World and Wet ‘n’ Wild with Dream World only a short drive away.  
  1. Ruffles Lodge, Willow Vale - 15 Minutes
Luxury in the hinterland. This gem was formerly a Peppers resort and still holds the prestige. If you enjoy the finer things and want the best of both worlds, Ruffles is the perfect place to base yourself for a theme park holiday.
  1. Ramada by Wyndham Hope Harbour, Hope Island - 17 Minutes
This tranquil hotel is tucked away on the calm waters of Hope Island on the northern side of the Gold Coast. You’re based a short drive from the beaches, outlet shops, and the theme parks!
  1. Treasure Island, Biggera Waters - 19 Minutes
This resort is ALL ABOUT FAMILY FUN. With 4 pools, their own waterpark, playground, giant chess, jumping pillow and plenty more boredom will not be a problem here. The only issue you may run into is the kids not wanting to leave to go to the theme parks!

Absolute beachfront, a short drive to the theme parks, next door to the largest outlet shopping centre on the Gold Coast, what more could you need?

This resort is set on the Broadwater for you to enjoy the generous views, enclosed swimming beach area, waterfront park, dining options, fishing spots, nearby shopping, and of course easy access to the theme parks!
