Opening in 1922, this grand historic building was initially built to accommodate the Queensland Government Savings Bank. Considered exceptional from its infancy, the ground floor lobby space celebrates the building’s Art Deco origins, showcasing its immense size, lavish columns, ornate ceiling, detailed cornices and marble finishes. 

The fully equipped gymnasium and heated outdoor swiming pool are open from 6am to 10:30pm daily. The Hotel also offers in-room massage, business services, dry cleaning and postal services (fees apply).
